The secret to dermal fillers lies in hyaluronic acid—a natural substance already found in your skin. Staying hydrated can even help you get the most from your treatment, keeping your skin plump and radiant.
It’s also good to know that while fillers beautifully enhance certain features, the rest of your face will continue to age naturally. This means you’ll still look like you, just with a touch of added volume where you want it most.-
Keep well hydrated (2-3litres of water) the week before your appointment. It is vital to stay hydrated after your filler treatment to maintain the best results.

Avoid caffeine & alcohol 24hrs before & after your treatment to prevent bruising.

If you suffer from cold sores, apply medication to the area (lips) prior to your appointment to help prevent a break out. If you are experience a break out reschedule your appointment within 48hrs.

Arnica cream/gel/capsules can be used prior & post treatment to help prevent bruising.

Avoid touching the area for 24hrs post treatment. Lip filler will be advised a massage technique which will be shown to you after your treatment.

After your treatment it is normal to experience swelling, redness, tightness & some tenderness within the area treated. The treatment may be uncomfortable (numbing cream will be applied prior to the treatment beginning for added comfort). This is normal & most side effects will subside within 28hrs but can take up to 2 weeks.

After the treatment avoid applying makeup or touching the area for 24hrs.

Avoid exercise 24hrs post treatment.

Apply ice compress to the treated area after 4hrs if needed for comfort or swelling.

Paracetamol cab be taken post treatment to help with any discomfort but doe not take Ibuprofen, aspirin or any blood thinning supplements if possible.
